SAY Wish List

 

In addition to financial gifts, SAY San Diego also gratefully accepts donations of new or gently used goods.  These donations are used for various programs or given directly to our low-income clients in need.Crayons used in child programs at SAY San Diego

We are sorry, but SAY San Diego cannot offer home pickup due to the high transportation cost.

For your convenience, a list of especially needed items is provided below:

NEW ITEMS

  • Diapers and baby wipes
  • Toddler-size pull-up diapers
  • Baby formula
  • Children’s shoes/sneakers
  • Children’s art supplies: markers, crayons, colored pencils, construction paper, shaped cutting scissors, stickers, butcher paper
  • Daily planners to help clients organize appointments
  • Journals
  • Toiletries (regular or sample size): shampoo, soap, bodywash, lotion, toothpaste, toilet paper, deodorant
  • Laundry soap/ detergent
  • Gift cards for school uniforms
  • Gift cards to grocery stores
  • Giftcards to Lakeshore Learning
  • Gift cards to music or food restaurants
  • Nonperishable food, such as canned goods
  • A truck (to help SAY pick up and distribute donations)

 

NEW OR GENTLY USED ITEMS
SAY San Diego is unable to clean or repair donated goods. Therefore, donors are asked to provide items in good, usable, and working condition so that their donations can be given directly to our programs and clients, ready to use.  Please ask yourself, “Would I give this to a family member or a friend?" or “Would I purchase this item in its current condition?”  We cannot accept dirty or stained items.Playdough

  • Books on topics related to teenagers and parenting issues
  • Clipboards for home visitations
  • Nutritious snacks
  • Baby items: clothes, blankets, strollers, bath tubs
  • Small appliances in good working condition

  • Clothing for children and adults

  • Infant playmats
  • Children’s books- all ages (from baby to teens), in English and Spanish

  • Medium size legos or blocks
