This program helps youth ages 8-17 who are on probation as well as youth who are at risk of becoming engaged with the legal system or are at risk of being expelled or suspended from school.
SAY San Diego staff provide short-term, family-based case management and/or counseling for families who need it. Groups that focus on specific topics (such as self-esteem and anger management) are also available.
Youth who have committed a crime can participate in Juvenile Diversion rather than receiving probation upon successful completion of the program.
Eligibility: Families with children ages 8 - 17. Voluntary or court-ordered referrals are accepted.
