SAY programs serve the whole child from prenatal to adulthood with programs that emphasize prevention, early intervention, and positive development. SAY is one of the largest providers of preschool and before- and after-school programs in San Diego County. SAY has 41 sites that provide a safe environment for enrichment activities and homework support to more than 4,500 students every year. SAY also helps teens navigate adolescence and provides intensive support to youth who have faced challenges resulting in involvement with the child welfare and juvenile justice systems. SAY programs help troubled youth gain insights, build pro-social skills, pursue education, gain employment, and create bright, safe, and healthy futures.

SAY San Diego has 48 Child and Youth Development programs, including 6 preschools, serving children preschool through grade 8 and their families. Our before- and after-school programs are located at SDUSD elementary and middle school campuses.
