Make a Safety Plan

If you think you might be in danger, make a plan! Have the following:

  • Packed bag at a friend’s house
  • Set of keys hidden outside
  • List of emergency contact info
  • Bank account with money in your name
  • Planned and practiced escape route
  • For you and your children: birth certificates, Social Security cards, driver’s license, passports, green card/work permit, welfare ID, money, checkbook, credit cards, school registration, restraining orders, etc.

Plan de Seguridad: Si usted cree que puede estar en peligro, haga un plan! Tenga la siguiente:

  • Una maleta en casa de un amigo(a)
  • Set de jugeo de llaves extra
  • Lista de información de contacto de emergencia
  • Cuenta bancaria con el dinero a su nombre
