The Community Organizer is responsible for the development and ongoing support of the Youth-led Community Advocacy Coalition. The Coalition aims to address disparities in gang involvement, violence perpetration, violence victimization, and opportunities for healing among youth who live in the communities of the Opportunity Zones in San Diego. City Heights resident experienced in advocating within their own community. Will serve as a part-time Case Manager for Crawford Cluster schools, providing support to parent and student living. As the families to be served are mostly refugee and immigrants, the Case Manager will have experience in a cross-cultural environment as well as experience working with other residents in the City Heights community.
