Mental Health Care Shouldn’t Have a Waiting List
In a region as resourceful as Greater San Diego, no one should wait months for mental health care. SAY San Diego has united civic leaders, corporate partners, and your neighbors in a combined effort to provide immediate, permanent mental health support for our children and families.
When we look out for one another, all of San Diego rises. Join us in ensuring that every neighbor has a reliable path to a brighter, more stable future.
Goal:
Raise $2 million to create an enduring source of support that provides 1,300 therapy sessions annually for children, youth, and families across San Diego.
Meeting a CRITICAL COMMUNITY need
Families across our region continue to face rising mental health challenges alongside academic pressures, economic stress, and social isolation. For many, timely, affordable, and community-informed therapy is difficult to access—especially for children and caregivers who may already be navigating trauma, housing instability, or family disruption
Too often, families are pushed into a “spin-cycle” of care—short-term, crisisdriven support that starts and stops without continuity—rather than the steady, relationship-based services that drive lasting progress. Without early intervention and consistent support, these challenges can escalate, affecting school attendance, learning, relationships, and long-term health.
They need WellSpring: a permanent safety net of reliable, evidence-based care that ensures no family has to navigate the journey to wellness alone.
Our promise is to support children, youth, and families in healing and growing stronger together, creating a community where every individual has the opportunity to thrive.
Your Impact, Doubled
Your investment in San Diego’s future goes twice as far. Through a generous 1-to-1 Match, every dollar you contribute to the WellSpring Initiative is matched by SAY San Diego, instantly doubling the resources available for children, youth, and families in our community. Together, we are building a $2 million initiative to ensure that high-quality, evidence-based mental health care remains a permanent reality for our neighbors.

Double your impact and help us reach our immediate goal of $200,000 to ensure mental health and wellness are community priorities – not privileges.
