Elevate Youth and Playwrights Project’s ‘The Pros and Cons of Feeding Stray Cats’
As part of SAY’s Elevate Youth program, their partner, Playwrights Project, commissioned a play about the challenges of youth substance youth written by local play write, Christian St. Croix. When Quincy is assigned to work with Victor in a weekend program for teens who have been arrested for drug-related crimes, a friendship is the last thing she expects. The pair soon discovers two stray cats, and Quincy finds that she and Victor may work well together after all. The Pros and Cons of Feeding Stray Cats is a funny and heartbreaking tale about friendship, choices, and cats.
The play is being shown at the Old Globe Theatre in Balboa Park at the end of March.
Showings open to the public are on Saturday, March 29 at 2pm & 7pm and Sunday, March 30 at 2pm.
