Many San Diegans will have to choose between groceries and gifts. Make the 2026 season special; provide hope!
During the holidays, many families, especially those from under-resourced backgrounds, are faced with the difficult choice of paying for housing, utilities, food, and clothing, or gifts to make the season special for their children and loved ones. This year, we are raising funds for 300 families in San Diego so they can purchase presents in a personalized and dignified way. Your generosity will make a difference for children and families across our community!
Every dollar donated will go toward $100 gift cards for these families to purchase toys and gifts for their loved ones, along with the household essentials they need.

From Your Cart to Their Heart: Requested Unwrapped Gifts
Help us bring joy by purchasing gifts and delivering them unwrapped by December 4 at the SAY Family Resource Center:

- Family items (houseware, small appliances, kitchenware, blankets)
- Personal items (all ages: sweaters, jackets, socks; hygiene items, cologne/perfume kits, lotion and makeup sets)
- Art supplies (paint set, craft and jewelry kits, sketch or scrapbooks, crayons)
- Books for youth and young adults (comic books, sci-fi, fiction, picture books)
- Electronics (headphones, speakers, phone banks, ring lights)
- Hands-on activities (STEM kits, rock kits, Legos, Play-Doh)
- Games (cards, board games, puzzles)
- Sports equipment (basketball, soccer, football, baseball)
- Toys (dolls, action figures, RC cars)
