POSITION PROFILE:
New program hiring for new team. Services are provided to those adults in reentry or on probation. The Clinician I will provide assessments, group counseling, family work and goal setting. The CBT services are designed to support the client with a focus on an opportunity for a successful future. The Clinician I will be part of a team recognized as treatment leaders in evidence based practice utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Referrals come directly from probation.

POSITION PROFILE:
This position administratively supports the Department to maintain and increase SAY’s visibility in the community at large, as well as donor cultivation and acquisition, fund development with private and public entities, and ongoing community relations to advance the mission and broad array of service programs.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience and Certifications):
- Bachelor’s Degree required and 2-3 years of professional work experience in fundraising, member relations, civic engagement, communications and/or related fields, preferably with a public affairs or non-profit group.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Preference for proficiency in fund development software or comparable database software. Basic familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and WordPress helpful.
- Fundraising experience, specifically with government, foundations and individual gifts.

POSITION PROFILE:
The Clinician I provides onsite counseling, education, and prevention services to children, youth, and families in partnership with San Diego Unified School district. Services may include mental health assessments and evaluation, individual / group / family therapy, plan development and case management to youth and families who may not otherwise be able to access these services.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise and manage a full-time caseload
- Provide psycho-social assessment and services to youth (5-18) and families
- Strong skills in individual/family/group therapy needed
- Meet SDUSD standards for workload and documentation

The Prevention Specialist will work closely with SAY’s Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD) Prevention Senior Manager and all other partners in the North Central Region. The Prevention Specialist is responsible for the development and ongoing support prevention efforts of the North City Prevention Coalition (NCPC) and participation in countywide workgroup system. The Prevention Specialist will work for social change in a systematic, deliberate and democratic way by taking responsibility for the institutions that affect their lives.
