School Based Mental Health

SAY provides an outpatient behavioral health program and a full range of Title 9 outpatient diagnostic and treatment services for children, adolescents, and young adults between the ages of 5-21 and their families who are low income or uninsured, full-scope Medi-Cal beneficiaries or eligible for services through the Mental Health Services Act (MHSA).

Mental health services are school-based and provided at designated school sites, at home, or in office, during school and evening hours. Services are client and family driven, and culturally and linguistically appropriate. SAY provides services at the following schools:

  • O’Farrell School
  • Freese Elementary
  • Epiphany Prep Charter
  • Encanto Academic Academy
